David Andrew ("Andy") Van Buskirk's practice focuses on corporate/commercial transactions and commercial real estate.

His corporate/commercial practice centers on the formation, conversion and restructuring of commercial entities, including limited liability companies, partnerships and corporations, as well as the acquisition and disposition of business entities including handling all aspects of due diligence, the review and preparation of various contracts and agreements, and the representation of clients in their on-going business activities.

His real estate practice covers all aspects of commercial real estate, including reviewing title and survey, acquisition, development, financing, leasing and disposition of all types of commercial real estate. He has experience representing buyers, sellers and developers of all types of commercial real estate including raw land, office buildings, retail centers, industrial projects and residential developments; as well as landlords and tenants in commercial lease matters.

• Continuing representation of numerous entities including limited liability companies, partnerships, corporations as well as professional entities in multiple states; and entities not properly formed within their jurisdiction of formation.
• Represented numerous entrepreneurs in all aspects of their various investments.
• Represented local real estate developer in connection with the acquisition of raw land for the development of sixty custom townhome lots in downtown Houston.
• Represented local real estate developer in connection with the acquisition of raw land and subsequent development and sale of subdivided parcels of land.
• Represented several out-of-state investors in the purchase of retail properties within Texas.
• Represented local real estate developer in connection with acquisition of mixed-use development.
• Represented owner in the refinance of multi-property mixed-use development.
• Continuing representation of both landlords and tenants in connection with commercial lease matters.
• Represented local private school in connection with the sale of its business for $8 million to an international private school venture.
• Represented family-owned oil and gas services company in connection with the sale of its business for $7.5 million to a publicly traded oil and gas services company; and the subsequent sale of its membership interest.
