William Davidson's practice focuses on the litigation/arbitration aspects of construction law. He represents primarily private owners, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers on substantial construction projects, including power plants, chemical plants, gas processing plants, cryogenic plants, sports facilities, commercial properties, light rail, and the fabrication of production modules for the upstream oil and gas industry. His experience includes the prosecution and defense of a variety of construction-related issues, including matters relating to mechanic's liens, performance and payment bonds, differing site conditions, breach of contract, breach of warranty, and claims relating to project delay, compression, disruption and acceleration. William also participates in the firm's appellate practice and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

Represented a commercial general contractor in litigation of disputes arising out of the design & construction of a hospital & parking garage

Represented a commercial general contractor as co-counsel in a $100 million lawsuit pending in Harris County that involved the engineering, procurement and construction of four separate gas processing plants in Louisiana. The case involved numerous construction-related issues and fraud.

Represented as co-counsel a contractor which services the oil and natural gas industry by providing construction and engineering services for underground storage facilities in an arbitration against the U.S. Department of Energy's prime contractor for decommissioning the Strategic Petroleum Reserve oil storage site located at Weeks Island, Louisiana. The case involved breach of a $13.3 million brine delivery contract and delay-related issues.
