Linda Emery's practice primarily involves the transactional and dispute resolution aspects of construction law. She has represented public and private owners, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, EPC firms, and sureties on substantial construction projects, including schools, hospitals, commercial offices, governmental facilities, hotels, underground utility projects, pipelines and cogeneration plants. Her experience includes prosecution and defense of a variety of construction-related issues, including disputes involving mechanic' liens, payment and performance bonds, bid protests, defective construction, changed conditions and project delays. Ms. Emery also has extensive experience in claim analysis, and drafting and reviewing construction contracts, purchase orders, subcontracts, master agreements and related documents.
