Profile:

Susan George’s practice focuses on commercial real estate, corporate and general commercial transactions.  Her real estate practice covers all aspects of commercial real estate, including acquisition, development, financing, leasing and disposition of all types of commercial real estate. Her corporate/commercial practice centers on the formation and restructuring of commercial entities, including corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies, as well as the acquisition, financing and disposition of business enterprises, the preparation of various contracts and agreements, and the representation of clients in their ongoing business activities.  Susan also has commercial litigation and bankruptcy experience and has practiced in Texas state courts as well as the United States Courts of Appeals for the Second and Fifth Circuits, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, and the United States Bankruptcy Courts for the Northern, Eastern, Southern and Western Districts of Texas.

• Represented privately held oil field servicing company in a $7.5 million asset sale to a publicly traded oil field product and service supplier.

• Represented private school in a $16 million asset sale to an international education company.
• Represented construction company in connection with corporate restructuring.
• Prepared private placement memoranda and related documents for a $1.6 million private offering by an emergency room management company.
• Continuing representation of local real estate developers in connection with the development of shopping centers in the Houston area.
